Happy Anniversay.

4 years ago today I married my best friend. I know, I know, I sound cheesy but I dont get all soppy over valentines day so give me this one OK? ;)
We stood on a beach in the Mayan Riviera, Mexico, and said our I do's with 13 of our friends and family with us and it was just about perfect. Looking outside at the bloody awful weather we are having I wish we were back at that exact spot right now! I was reminicing over some of our wedding pics and thought I would share some with you :)

The one where she actually scrapped!

I know!! Shocking right? I have actually had enough mojo to scrapbook lately and have been having lots of fun doing it too! :)

First up is the last of the halloween layouts......because we did halloween x 2 last year (with Grand River's Hallowhinny) I had TONS of pics so I ended up with a good 4 or 5 halloween themed pages. Ha ha, oh well its all good.

 Next is a pic of Maddy that I have wanted to scrap for ages. The ultra talented Carrie Clarke Scott took Maddy's baby pics and they are so gorgeous that its a bit intimidating to scrap them to be honest!! LOL Anyhoo, I saw a layout on the October aftyernoon blog and decided to scraplift it. It didnt come out quite the same but at my first attempt at masking I am kinda happy! I got the heart shaped doily's at the dollar store and it came out great.

Lastly is a page I did using a pic of the 3 of us (Carrie Clarke Scott again! She did pics for Maddys 1st b'day too!) I had seen this title used somewhere else and loved it so I took my die cut tree and whacked a pile of hearts on it. I actually really like this one. I used Doodlebug letters for the title and flocked them (havent done that in AGES!!) forgot how much I love those letters. Wish I could get my hands on some more of them! More dollar store doily's to make the little "flower beds" under the tree!

So there you have it.....a little scrapiness for you this Tuesday :)

I was browsing around online and came across this great (and apparently free!) digi magazine. It has some gorgeous photography, fab looking recipes, and great crafts in it. The pictures alone had me drooling!! Great inspiration for sure.....check it out!

She's not for the faint of heart but this lady is so sure of herself, knows who she is and makes no apologies for it! P!nk just rocks! My newest favorite song....cant help singing along!

I'm Baaaaaack!

So I realize i'm absolutely not going to win blogger of the year or anything, my inability to post  in the past 4 months has taken care of that but I figured it was time for a little update on where we are right now. So here goes........

HE.

HAs been CRAZY busy working. Between his "real" job at Cargill, training the horses, shipping people to race, and taking care of us girls he is on the move constantly........but thats how he likes it :)

SHE

 is finally starting to feel better after a bout of Bronchialitis that sent us to the hospital for 2 days a couple of weeks ago and scraed the beejeebers out of us! She is still on 2 kinds of inhalers AND antibiotics buts shes eating again and feeling waaaay better. Sleep is starting to return to normal so we all thank God for that!

I

Cut my hair off and went for a shorter bob. I told my DH that I needed a change and it was either him or the hair, so we decided to try the hair first. ;) I joke.....hahaha.

I am carazy busy at work right now due to an upcoming horse sale but the change in routine is kinda nice :)
As for anything crafty, well I have scrapbooked a little bit but mostly stuff I had fallen behind on. I actually havent taken any new pics in a while! Better get on that.
I wont leave my next update for quite as long, I kinda promise ;)
